Yesterday I went to take a walk down Paris Plage again with my good friend NH and her puppy, Nana. NH, N (may be a bit confusing...), and I all came to France to be with our French husbands and the 3 of us get together often as I love their down to earth personalities.
NH's puppy is only 5 months old so she gets a little excited when around a lot of people. She barks at other dogs and sometimes bites people's hands when she's happy so NH says that she has to constantly keep an eye on her :) But the French don't care about any of that and come near Nana and comment on how cute she is. Even the usually unfriendly Parisians would smile when looking at her and I felt as though I saw another side to them. Even though there is a language barrier, or difference in culture/opinions, a certain "something" can be a trigger to become friendly with each other. I think that once we realize that, the world will become a better place.
