Although it's summer, it's been quite cold in Paris. It seemed it was going to get hot again but now it's like Japanese tsuyu (rainy season)! Last night it rained cats and dogs, and today it's humid and cool (actually starting to rain again as I am posting on this blog!). This humidity sure makes it hard to handle my hair!! Well, the other day when I cut my hair, I talked briefly about the French not caring much about damaged hair as much as Japan. But I believe most Japanese who've come to France will notice when taking a shower, your hair gets really coarse due to the hard water and calcium hypochlorite. When I just moved to Paris, I was concerned with the amount of hair falling out but with the advice from friends, I now wash my hair once in 2 days. It was hard getting used to since I was accustomed to washing my hair everyday in Japan, but unless I do so, tremendous amounts of hair falls out!
Anyways, when I went to the States in June, I bought shampoo and hair treatment with argan oil (effective for moisturizing and anti-aging) which is currently the hot item. The brand is called Organix and they don't test on animals, are eco-friendly, and easy on the hair. This summer I hope to protect my hair with this shampoo and hair treatment☆
